the background for these photos at the grand march was quite challenging from a photographic standpoint. the background consisted of a bright white ship on a red curtain with a blinding white spotlight shining through!! yikes!! but i did get at least one shot of every individual and couple - even the ones who wouldn't pause before their names were called!!
