"saw God in all the aspects"
"I recently attended a local art show with some friends-not something I usually do. I was truly amazed at the talent I saw there-wishing I had a little of it. Near the end of strolling through the art entries, I came to a photographic print that drew me in and I couldn't take my eyes off of it. It was so raw and so sad and yet as I continued to look closely, I saw God in all the aspects. What first looked like a sky filled with dark, ominous clouds, showed the beginnings of the sun just breaking through. What first looked like a dead branch arm grabbing at the grandeur behind it showed numerous tiny leaves still clinging to the branch. There was so much life in the bleakness, so much of God’s splendor even in death and sadness. This reminded me so much of my niece and her husband who lost their daughter this past year. I had to have it and purchased it on the spot. It will not remain in my home but will go to live where God means it to be as a source of hope and love, but it will remain in my heart forever. Jaki's work always seems to speak to my spirit. I am glad she is doing what she was designed to do."
